Content Mock-Up

Quick experimental mockup for content using InDesign CC. Overall, I like the look, but it may be less unapproachable if the audience is students. This approach was not continued.

All imagery is creative commons or public domain.  The article is from Scientific American, which the data and information was originally presented in Nature. The video at the start is a short snippet from footage in Antarctica by Darek Sepiolo.
